This is very basic right now.. don't expect anything fancy for a while.

Initial release:

Full init.d support

Sysctl.Conf support and pre-tweaked

DrodSpeed inside

All apps fully optimized and zipaligned

Zipalign on every boot (for those lazy themers)

Internal Task Killer adjusted

Market apps completely removed (yes, even gmail and google search)

To get full gmail function back, you must set Gmail to sync via accounts/sync settings in the settings app.

To get google search function back, you must download it from the market

To get voice search, voice directions, text to speech back, you must download voice search from the mark

That's all I can remember right now.. Since most people I've had talk to me say they were happy with the new blur, I decided to not include the scripts for adding/removing until I get a little more feedback.

Download link:

Install:

Install the GB Leak as normal

reboot to clockworking recovery

wipe data/cache(factory reset)

install zip from sdcard

select rubixblurrybread.zip

flash

reboot

enjoy :)

Mirror attached to the thread.

If you like my work, consider helping me afford my plane ticket to get to Google I/O :)

File Attachment(s):
rubiXBlurryBread.zip (123,851kb) downloaded 815 time(s).

Hey drod, great stuff. I'm running into a weird problem though. When I first loaded up the ROM, I was getting drodspeed in Linpack (19 MFLOPS). Later, I cleared my data in Droid Overclock and re-set up my OC settings and now I'm back at regular speed (16 MFLOPS) :(

Any idea what happened?

EDIT: It might be something with the Sysctl settings since those were reset too... Maybe I can get the numbers for it so I can manually adjust it to that? Thanks

Sysctl should not affect it. Don't pay attention to benchmark tests, honestly it could just be more apps loaded. Don't use sysctl via droid overclock, the numbers in my rom are adjusted better for better over all performance and battery, with more adjustments included than droid overclock offers.

Seems to be working great as usual. Have not experienced any non-gb related issues. Why no post on droidforums?

As mentioned by all. Great work. With as much bloatware removed, I can feel the lightness of this build. Plus, the snappiness right after install is awesome. It's been about 7 hours and it's getting better and better.

Look forward to the next iteration of this creation.

Thanks again.

No clue why, but this is not installing! Running the deodexed GB leak, wiped/factory reset and I just go back to the leaked GB. No rubiX......Any ideas?
Cheers!

drod has changed nothing visualy, as mentioned in the OP, it is very basic. Open up a root file explorer and you will see that inid is now supported, this is how you know you are on rubiX for Gingerbread.
