*This ROM is overclocked to 800Mhz by default, not every Droid will be able to handle this clock speed, it may cause random shutdowns or reboots!*
*No wipe necessary if coming from other FRF57 Froyo ROMs, but if you run into any problems at all then wipe data & cache*
OPTIONAL Scripts: (credit to Pete)
*Note: If you install anything not in my OP you will get permission denied errors!*

Read the sysctl link. This should. He raised the native min speed to 250Mhz. This was the aforementioned fix.
So, in short, YES.

Is there anyway to disable the shortcuts for the boot? I constantly press it on accident. Would be much better in the shutdown menu

I currently have a cover on the base of my phone (not the screen) so it's kind of hard for me to press those buttons unless i want to.
IMO, i like it the way it is, but if Pete wants to make a way to turn it on/off i'd be okay with it.
EDIT:
Pete. Your scripts are becoming faulty.
droidboot no longer switches the animation, yet returns no errors. Even putting my own animation in /data/local isn't switching it.
Any idea what's wrong?

So, in short, YES. doesn't look like it was fixed, i just had it randomly reboot into recovery after coming out of a sleep period, clean install, it wasn't even installed for 10 minutes

Wow. This borked my phone. :-( I cannot even slide the lockscreen to the right without my phone soft resetting. Rolling back to my V0.2 backup and I will try to flash V0.2.1 over it again. (I had originally formatted /system, /cache and /boot before flashing V0.2.1) Edit: Well that worked. I rolled back to my V0.2 backup and then immediately flashed V0.2.1 directly over it without formatting anything (other than /cache). Booted up and got past the lock screen. :) Motorola DROID · BB v0.4 - Froyo FRF84B · Stock Theme Pete's 800Mhz Kernel · ClockworkMod Recovery Follow me on Twitter: http://twitter.com/MrBlippy Check out the Bugless Beast FAQ: http://alldroid.org/tabi...9/FAQ-Bugless-Beast.aspx Bugless Beast Toolkit Info: http://alldroid.org/tabi...Toolkit-by-MrBlippy.aspx Gloatware: http://www.speedtest.net/rank/1191826797.png

I removed Quick Office in the first version due to the FC's, can it be re-enabled through Terminal Emulator?

hmm with the issues reported already i may hold off... 0.2 was stable for me... except for two "crashes" which i just discovered were the shut down keys! i was wondering how my phone got kicked into recovery mode!
Pete--great concept with the shutdown keys. however, execution needs some reworking. It looks like im not the only one who had some issues with accidentally actuating it. i know when i turn my phone on, its not uncommon for me to hit the volume button with my middle finger.
maybe use power+keyboard key?

I like the options, when holding the power button, from the Saphire ROM. Maybe if Pete asked nicely he could use that same setup. :) Bugless Beast V0.1 That kernel that came with Pete's last release Black Ice Froyo V1.3 by Team Chaos ClockworkMod Recovery LauncherPro

When I installed BB V0.1 all my apps installed automatically and everything worked fine. When I Installed BB V0.2 wiped data/boot/system/cache like I always do they didn't install automatically. Did I do something wrong? What can I do to get this feature up and running I would hate to have to install all 50 + apps manually. My V 0.1 worked fine wifi and the marketplace and flash all worked except for the occasional reboot (maybe once a day). Please help?!?!
Edit: I also can't get astro to intall anything it keeps saying nothing is selected>

Not sure if this is related. I installed 0.2.1 about 1/2 hour ago, and after the install the news & weather widget stopped working. Keeps getting this message "Sorry, unable to connect. Please try later."
anyone else having this issue?

pm setInstallLocation 2oldblue wrote:anyway to disable apps2sd? really f'd up my phone I think this sets apps2sd to install to the SD card, shouldn't it be "1"? from faq 3) to enable all your apps to be installed to your sd card while allowing you to move nearly any app by hitting the menu button > settings > applications > manage applications > all > select the app you want moved > move to sd card, type the following in terminal emulator (case sensitive):
Quote:su
pm setInstallLocation 2 this will be enabled until you change it back to Location 0 (auto) or Location 1 (internal). (thank you, davidbudd1!)
