Ever had something so hard to solve or fix it felt like trying to solve a Rubik's Cube? Meet this rom, Rubik 1.0 It's been a pain in my rear end to get it going and how I want it, it seems like 2.2 has been a little more complicated than 2.1, and me not having any "official" developing background, it seems to be that much more difficult. This rom features: Virgin deodexed FRF84B (credit to Pete for releasing, Google for producing) Fully optimized and zipaligned system 42 mb of free space in system for extra speed (bare version features 58 mb free) All natural system app's still included Chevy's 800 mhz LV Kernel Custom speed/battery life tweaks credit to Boostdscoob and myself Stock theme for now, but ANY FRF84B theme will work Droid X Boot Animation HQ Recording Tweak (Credit to the person who made the write up for the value tweaks to media_profiles.xml, I can't remember right now) 1150-1200 Quadrant scores with 800mhz kernel! Blazing fast, no lag, and amazing battery life. This is just the start of something big to come, I still have a lot planned for this rom, including an exclusive theme, full 360* rotation, and numerous other options and features. now for the download: ninebysix.com/boostdscoob...00718-1339.rarNANDROID INSTALL: Unzip put in nandroid folder in sdcard reboot into sprecovery wipe data/cache unless coming from another frf84b rom, but it's still recommended advanced nandroid restore reboot enjoy Recommend: ChevyNo1 kernels ADW Launcher

Thanks again glad to hear it. expect 1.1 in the next day or two, with a special surprise, the only hint i'll give is: 1764 quadrant scores with a 1.2ghz kernel. 17 hour battery life on a full charge with moderate usage

hmm definitely lookn forward to that and maybe saved me some time....ill prolly wait til you drop that to get it themed in some manner. still having that old issue where flashing between recoveries doesnt seem to work to well(not all that big of a deal to me) other than that seems like a well put together rom love the fact that there is 40 plus m's free in system. other than that i just think it needs to be themed but ill wait on that til the new rom drops. Thanks for all the hard work

New release by Team Awesome is on target for tonight or tomorrow night still, switched base to the newest release, FRG01B.

Great! Thanks. Also, I hope you will have a stock version of the next release as well as the themed version. I'm more of a minimalist, stock performance guy. Thanks for the rom. Its the fastest 2.2 I've tried so far and I've tried them all.

changes are:
switched to frg01b base
switched to exclusive kernels you can ONLY find on team awesome roms
auto scaling included
50-60 mb free

I'll be releasing with an 800mhz stock, and post links for a 1 ghz and 1.2 ghz. Right now i'm having some issues with the auto scaling, so I might save that for the future release. I'm honestly excited to get this out to you guys

You guys like options?
"I prefer source roms over leak based. Who wants a "cut and paste" rom? Geeze! You dev's should do your own work!"
"I really don't care if it's leak or source built, I just want a rom to blow my mind"
Well.... You guys will get the best of both worlds.
The FIRST rom to simultaneously give you the option of a source build or a leak, is being brought to you here by Team Awesome.
Credit to JsinLegacy for the awesome idea. Rubik 1.5L (L for Leak) will be releasing at the same time as Rubik 1.5S (S for source) for those who would rather have a choice for their favorite rom, than being forced upon one or the other

I'm one of those guys who couldn't care less if the rom is from source or not. Will there be any advantages to going with the source version? Which one is faster?

Sorry guys, got caught up with the girlfriend and watched Shutter Island. That movie was crazy by the way.
I'm about to upload the new backup. To me, there are no differences in a source build and a leak build. A leak build is built from AOSP, same as a source build, only difference is Motorola uses their vendor tree that they made, and make their updates. Source builds use custom vendor setups, with the person who made the setup's updates.
I was hoping to push out a update.zip, but for some reason I keep losing root when I make one, so nandroid's for now.
