I just want to ask if I can use Droid x Root method with a Milestone?

No, there is a specific method for the Milestone.  Here it is

In these directions it will tell you it is for the UK version, ignore that.  You can root any version, use
the one that is correct for where you are.  If you need the latest SBF,
they are at this link...

You can also use the GOT 's OpenRecovery which I have heard works great but I haven't personally used.

Hi,



You are wrong, I tryed to root my Milestone from Movilnet Venezuela with Birdman hack and it is working like a charm, even you can root few Motorola devices: Milestone, Milestone XT720 and Droid X, and because Birdman approach is about a flaw at the service that controls WiFi and Bluetooth, it can be found in any Android device, so it can be working with any Android device out there, but it is just a suposition.



Meanwhile I can confirm that Birdman hack works VERY fine with Milestone, Milestone XT720 and Droid X.
