Well after the RC went out, bugs flew everywhere...here are the changes to this version.
- Search button fixed
- Voice Search now included
- Phone as Modem option enabled (in usb modes) (UNTESTED!)
- in windows, it asks for drivers, if you make it farther than that, let me know. (if this option leads to nothing after this release, ill remove it)
- nodev and nosuid removed from mount_ext3.sh
- Superuser.apk and su updated to the newest versions (2.3.5 creds to chainsdd)
- the new version allows you to check for updates from the apk!
- Bootanimation by @wjddesigns
- Easter Egg notification

Note: Obviously birdman removed a language pack to save room or he forgot to pack it, take it up with him and let him know he doesnt read here obviously if you read his twitter
Note: I have tested the USB modem on Mac and Linux (Ubuntu) and could not get it to work, Anyone who has windows let birdman know if that works.

I have installed this, and it is working great! It is smooth and quick from what I have found.
One issue I ran into though, is adb no longer recognizes my phone as a device. Windows still recognizes it, and it can connect in PC Mode, USB storage mode, charge only mode, etc. without driver issues. It is even recognized by RSD Lite 4.7.
But, from command prompt, I cannot get adb to recognize the device. I have tried every usb connection option.
I am running Windows XP Pro 32 bit, and drivers are MotoConnect v01.01.31
If I restore my backup, from when I was just on the 2.2, Rooted, Froyo, before installing FlyX V1, then the connection works no problem. I even tried uninstalling/reinstalling the device drivers, and reverting to older drivers.
Any suggestions?

So, if I have a rooted, froyo droid x, with all the bloat I want removed, can someone tell me a couple of benefits to running this ROM (other than birdman being the shit)?

Excuse my ignorance, but does this still require Clockwork and ROM Manager installed? I noticed that he attached a zip file to his post, but I'm at work and not "allowed" to download anything.
I'm reluctant to install clockwork because there seems to be more worke involved to get the phone back to stock after clockwork recovery installation. I'm just wondering if the ziped attached ROM can be installed via update.zip and regular recovery mode. Any help with this is greatly appreciated, thanks.

It looks like birdman removed all extra languages installed to free up some space or left a symbols pack out. Youll have to wait for a response from him to confirm this. Sorry I cant offer any extra help Droid X with FlyX 0.1 Final

I'am having the same music/lockscreen bug as stated above along with none of my videos will play back in the gallery. When i tried to run a quadrant benchmark test it failed due to an "internal error during the benchmark execution" while it was testing Video decoding - H.264. When I got that error it made me think of my videos so I went to play 3 of my videos and get error File cannot be displayed or played. Didn't have video playback or lockscreen/music bug with RC1.

You might want to check your build.prop and make sure the stagefright is set to false not true Droid X with FlyX 0.1 Final

I have stagefright set to false and my lockscreen music widget displays gibberish. Does anyone running Fly v.1 _not_ have this problem?

Found my own bug last night. When attempting streetview on Google Maps i get the error "No application found to handle google.streetview". That and the music player on lock screen bug is the only major issues I've had. Great job birdman, keep up the awesome work!

Bug report: Camera FC
Droid X running leaked 2.2, upgraded to Fly x RC1, then Fly X V1.
After enabling the Panorama assist the camera app will FC. All other picture modes seem to function normally.
Birdman, thanks for the ROM and your hard work.

Got FlyX to install. Since the install i have noticed the bottom 1\2 inch of my screen flickering. Is this a bug related to FlyX or a hardware issue that requires me to revert back to .604 for a warranty claim Droid X running FlyX

I would have to say that is a hardware issue, Try flashing back anyway to see if it still does it and if so well then youve knocked out two birds with one stone, if it fixes it yay. Seriously tho that shouldnt be caused by software Droid X with FlyX 0.1 Final

the screen flickering is a known issue with the droid x. Very few of them do it but i have replaced a few because of it for some customers. One question i have about the flyx is where can i get the verizon visual voicemail apk to install??? I pulled it from my backup but it was before the build.prop fix. can someone email it to me or post a link. Thanks!! I actually prefer this to google voice
