I was aware of the known hardware issues with the flicker. was just curious because of the timing. SBF'd back to .604 and still there. call verizon and they told me that they will have to mail me a new phone because there is not one in stock with-in 100 miles of me... but on a side not the lady did confirm that 2.2 is currently being pushed OTA.

it's been delayed by 2-3 weeks actually.

I am having troubles with google sync? I am running Fly X final with the build.prop from ROM manager and the REVOlution theme. I cannot get my calendar to load data from google, and when I go into accounts, the sync icon with a red ! is shown and states: "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly."



Has anyone else ran into this? Any help is appreciated, Thanks.
edit: so it seems as though the calender sync issue is part of tranquility and not flyX.

Ok, so question.... Why is Maps removed? Don't we just have to download it again? I mean, pretty much everyone needs this app. What gives?



BTW- this works on 2.2 OTA right?

i have installed this ROM and now i have issues with the text messaging. So now when i send a text and and i receive i would receive double replies instead of one any help ? this never happen until i installed this ROM

I had the same issue.  Turns out I had two Messaging apps installed and they were both running.  I think it happened when I used Titanium to restore my text messages...it probably restored the Motorola Messaging app as well.  I just turned notifications off in one of them.

i figured out what was wrong it was not the ROM it was the theme i installed the revolution r2 theme. when i themed it it installed duplicates of messaging, email, and some other stuff forgot but i used titanium to freeze the one's i didn't need.. problem solved running like a champ besides LP fc here and there

This was released a long time ago and was based off the original froyo leak...





I wouldn't use this if you ota'd to 2.3 or later

No maps because its part of bloatware I think.



And I'm wondering the same about FlyX and OTA 2.2 on Droid X. I've read that people are using it on an OTA and some that say you have to install it over the 2.2 or 2.3.13 leaked versions.

This is on and off subject. But I'm looking for some FlyX and 928 savvy people. I'm guessing I'm in the right place.



I have a DX, Official OTA and no root.



I want to install 928DroidBlackGlassX-DroidX-OTA2315-DeOdexEERR-THEME but want to make sure of things first.



1. Do I have to wipe stock and cache before installing? Or is this what I
do after running Bootstrap and restarting in clockwork backing up?



2. Do I have to have a ROM on my phone or can I just install theme? I
would like FlyX but I see most saying you have to install it over the
2.2 or 2.3.13 leaked version.



3. And do I just install most recent
928DroidBlackGlassX-DroidX-OTA2315-DeOdexEERR-THEME file, move to sd,
create backup with Bootstrap and install zip from mount?



4. Do I uninstall ADW Launcher or leave alone?



I know how to root w/rootmyx2 method and have all the tools to do
anything else I need. Titanium BU, Root Explorer, Bootstrap and ROM
Manager. Just want to make sure all is right first. And it appears
people are getting tired of same questions so I'm sorry for the post. I
have seen good instructions on this forum.

I just installed FlyX rom and now I can't even use my keyboard o.O

I gotta put back my stock rom for now, but has anyone else gotten this issue and resolved it?

Quick question: I flashed the phone with the FlyX v0.1 Final. All went well. I wanted to try a different rom but my boot screen remains as the FlyX. What do I need to do or....
